Déjà Vu by Brains11 While at work a customer offered me something to drink last week. We talked a bit about the places we had visited during our holidays. She had just returned home from France and told me she had visited many beautiful villages and other small places. One of those was a small city called Sarlat-la-Caneda. I instantly got a déjà vu because I remembered visiting this wonderful place myself 2 years ago in June. When I got home from work I turned on my computer and browsed me a way through the 2015 holiday season folders. I saw some untouched RAW files that should deliver some nice images with some decent post work. So was it that this (almost forgotten) image came to life. I hope you all enjoy looking at it as much as I did creating it :) Best viewed on black (click image or press “M”)

Akita (my dog) by GAB22 The Akita is an ancient breed, which still has a special meaning in Japan: statues depicting these dogs are given away to infants and the sick as a wish for good health and happiness. Akita breed was also Hachiko, who became famous around the world for having always been devoted to his master until his death, becoming a symbol of fidelity in their own country. Once the possession of these dogs was restricted to members of the Imperial family and the aristocracy and there were special provisions for the care and nurturing of these persons; also, to refer to dogs or contact they had to resort to a particular vocabulary.
