Smiling in the Snow by phillipsphotoscdp The snow had already stopped falling so I resorted to throwing snow at the model with my left hand while snapping the photo with my right. Thankfully, she didn’t complain and was a real trooper about it all!

Akita (my dog) by GAB22 The Akita is an ancient breed, which still has a special meaning in Japan: statues depicting these dogs are given away to infants and the sick as a wish for good health and happiness. Akita breed was also Hachiko, who became famous around the world for having always been devoted to his master until his death, becoming a symbol of fidelity in their own country. Once the possession of these dogs was restricted to members of the Imperial family and the aristocracy and there were special provisions for the care and nurturing of these persons; also, to refer to dogs or contact they had to resort to a particular vocabulary.
